Our Favorite Places to Eat & Drink

  • Boar

Boar's Breath Restaurant & Bar
Try the dry-rubbed, grilled steaks and filet mignon; fresh fish, thick hand-cut pork chops, crispy skinned, roasted half chicken; caramelized onion soup; spinach salad with goat cheese and crushed pistachio; crimson roasted beet salad, or the retro salads. Or, if you want something a bit more casual, they offer a hand-thrown gourmet pizza made from scratch, the crust richly flavored with nine-year-old sourdough starter made from local organic grapes.

Cactus Grill
Great food, great service, and fun music with indoor or outdoor seating! The salsa bar is very fresh and very flavorful, with a nice variety of salsas. Try the zucchini and yellow squash burrito with chicken, or the mahi tacos. We like the sun-dried tomato quesadillas.

  • Cactus Grill, Clearlake

Magic Wok
Try their Mandarin Chicken and egg rolls. They have a large great menu, friendly staff, and fast service. Great take-out, too! The Magic Wok offers the best Chinese food in town.

  • Main Street Bar & Grill

The Spot
Enjoy a wide range of burgers, hotdogs and shakes at this 50's inspired, locally owned diner. Enjoy the tunes of the 50's while taking in the lake views from indoors or have a seat outside by the lake! Full bar & live music on weekends!

Saw Shop Bistro
The Saw Shop is located in downtown Kelseyville, a quaint little town known for its annual pear festival and its vineyards. The food is always fresh: a good example of Californian cuisine, with appetizers ranging from salads to pot stickers, and entrees including duck confit, king salmon, lamb, or pasta. Reservations are recommended especially on weekends, and patrons should generally arrive no later than 8:30 pm.
